Our In-House
3D Printing Technologies
Selective Laser Sintering
Using a CO2 laser, selective laser sintering fuses nylon-based thermoplastic powder layer by layer.
OEM: EOS & 3D Systems
Lead Time: 3 - 5 Days
Max Build Area: 26 x 13.5 x 22 in
Tolerances: First inch ± 0.005 in & additional inches ± 0.002 in/in
Multi-Jet Fusion
Using fusing and detailing agents, multi-jet fusion selectively applies them to a nylon-based powder layer by layer and fuses it with heating elements.
OEM: HP
Lead Time: 2 - 4 Days
Max Build Area: 15 x 15 x 11 in
Tolerances: First inch ± 0.010 in & additional inches ± 0.002 in/in
Stereolithography
Using a UV laser, stereolithography creates components by drawing thin layers of each part in a vat of liquid thermoset resin.
OEM: 3D Systems & Stratasys
Lead Time: 1 - 3 Days
Max Build Area: 31 x 31 x 23 in
Tolerances: First inch ± 0.005 in & additional inches ± 0.0015 in/in
Digital Light Processing
Using a digital projector, digital light processing flashes each layer onto a vat of photosensitive resin.
OEM: Carbon
Lead Time: 1 - 2 Days
Max Build Area: 7.4 x 4.6 x 12.8 in
Tolerances: Depends on the part's geometries.
Hybrid PhotoSynthesis
Using both a CO2 laser and a projector, hybrid photosynthesis cures the layers of a component in a vat of resin.
OEM: Axtra3D
Lead Time: 3 - 5 Days
Max Build Area: 9.5 x 5.25 x 19.25 in
Tolerances: First inch ± 0.005 in & additional inches ± 0.0015 in/in
Fused Filament Fabrication
Using a heating source, fused filament fabrication extrudes thermoplastics layer by layer to form components.
OEM: Stratasys
Lead Time: 1 - 5 Days
Max Build Area: 36 x 24 x 36 in
Tolerances: First inch ± 0.005 in & additional inches ± 0.002 in/in
Material Jetting
Using small droplets, material jetting sprays a liquid photopolymer onto a build platform layer by layer.
OEM: Stratasys
Lead Time: 1 - 2 Days
Max Build Area: 19 x 15 x 8 in
Tolerances: First inch ± 0.004 in & additional inches ± 0.0015 in/in
